Robert D. Owens, President/CEO of O,R&L Facility Services and graduate of The University of Vermont, Class of 1981, was recently elected to the University’s Foundation Leadership Council.
Mr. Owens joins a prestigious group who work through the Foundation Leadership Council to provide volunteer leadership to the Foundation and University through their philanthropy, service, skills, networking, knowledge and strategic business acumen. The council was established to provide a platform to engage the institution’s most passionate, influential, and accomplished alumni and friends.
Robert Owens is the President/CEO of O,R&L Facility Services. He has successfully grown his full-service commercial real estate company, managing close to $10 billion in real estate net worth with a portfolio that includes commercial/investment properties, high-rise residential complexes, public and private school systems, college and university campuses, state judicial facilities, government buildings, places of public assembly, and commercial and medical facilities. The company employs approximately 1,000 real estate industry professionals company-wide.
Mr. Owens, in addition to supporting numerous charities and youth organizations, also serves on the Board of Directors for Give Kids the World, an 84-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that provides week long, cost free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Family Foundation in Orlando, FL.
